As VP, global category director for IT project services, Abby Burton oversees a global contingent workforce program for financial services company JPMorgan Chase. Recently, Burton and internal partners automated and expedited approval processes that will impact thousands of transactions annually. She’s also implemented a global RFP process and a focus on hire-train-deploy expansion globally with usage more than doubling. Burton has also been focused on use-case research to modernize the VMS, using industry best practices while also ensuring that internal customers have easy access to what they need.

In addition, Burton’s commitment to DE&I in the industry continues as a JPMC DE&I Ambassador and active participation in JPMC’s Global Supplier Diversity mission. She aligned and coaches qualified diverse businesses to her program. “The team and I have focused on taking the time in a fast-paced industry to ensure our program and supplier partners have an opportunity to participate on equal footing,” Burton shares.
