Kimberly Chastang-Lee is responsible for corporate and professional services within the Salesforce sourcing team, overseeing all services related to the intake and onboarding of its contingent workforce, globally. “We are a growing and scaling company. Contingent continues to be a key component for us,” Chastang-Lee says.

Recently launched, Project Fusion is the complete end-to-end redesign of the entire non-employee engagement structure at Salesforce. It covers 100% of non-employees and is the single source of record for all non-employee engagements.  This redesign has helped expand the company’s managed service provider space.

“We have really tried to mature our contractor space. We wanted to expand our reach and ensure that we are covering everything that will fall under contingent workers, Chastang-Lee says. “So we are rolling in our SOW work underneath that umbrella so it gives us greater visibility and governance over all of our contractor population.”

Chastang-Lee brings a strong background in strategic sourcing/planning/execution, program management and governance. She developed and implemented cost reduction methodologies and built sustainable models to support long term strategies. Her demonstrated skills include a thorough understanding of strategic sourcing process, risk mitigation, supplier value management, and change management. She has more than 10 years of experience in managing large-scale global strategic sourcing operations and overseeing teams which exceed key performance expectations.
