Micheal Sittler built the contingent labor program at Spectra Energy from the ground up, and when the company was acquired by Enbridge Inc. in 2017, he seamlessly blended the two enterprise-level programs together, bringing the united program to maturity in record time.

Sittler credits his unwavering commitment to nurturing strong partnerships with suppliers and business stakeholders combined with his change management skills with helping to ease the transition for everyone and drive adoption within Enbridge.

Sittler believes that creating a multi-year vision and employing process mapping as well as a phased approach to implementation is key to reaching the final stage of program maturity. His current and former programs have been recognized for their maturity and using best-in-class benchmarks.

With $600 million in annual spend and over 3,000 contingents on assignment, Sittler orchestrated a parallel integration and go-live of Fieldglass with Workday in January 2019. A parallel deployment of Workday 2.0 and Fieldglass had never been completed in a company the size and scale of Enbridge, yet Sittler and his team brought the project in on time and under budget.

Moving forward, Sittler has recently deployed a direct hire and freelance marketplace, identity management and initiated the development of SOW and private talent pools that include retirees, alumni and inspectors.
