Marianne Galante is executive director, advisory resource management, at KPMG. Resource managers support the KPMG Advisory practice to assist project managers find the best resources to fill roles on client engagements and projects. In addition, resource managers support Advisory professionals to find interesting KPMG project work that aligns with their skills and career aspirations. Earlier this year, Galante oversaw the launch of KPMG Assignment Select( KAS), KPMG Advisory’s new self-sourcing platform that invites independent professionals looking for temporary or project-based work to join Labor Clouds that are aligned with their specific skillsets. This puts them in direct contact with KPMG’s recruiters and resource managers to utilize them as options when staffing projects.

In addition to leveraging KAS, KPMG’s Advisory practice will continue to tap third-party talent suppliers. “We are evolving our sourcing strategy and need both channels to deliver an agile operating model that adapts to the needs of our business and the workplace.”

KAS now includes more than 5,000 contingent workers registered on the site and Galante’ team is focused on ensuring they have a great experience working with KPMG.

“We have open positions across the country,” she explains, “and continue to improve our operational processes to ensure independent professionals and third-party talent suppliers both have a smooth experience working with us.”

Galante has worked in finance and resource management for the last 25 years, including the past five in her current role.
